Hilary K. Illustration
Who: Hilary Kelley
Where: Atlanta, GA.
What: Watercolor, ink, and gouache paintings & prints.
Why: Hilary’s work examines the relationships between stillness and chaos, and the quiet moments of decision between these two states. Most often represented literally by images of predator-and-prey, Hilary focuses on the natural world to express the tenuous and fundamentally hostile essence of social constructs. At times flirting with satire, other times humorous and devastating, Hilary attempts to use the least amount of movement possible to convey the greatest action.
When: Exhibiting since 2009.
