Meet Rick of WEMCO Arts
I’ve been a sketch artist as long as I can remember! A lot of my pieces come from my love of history, humor, culture, the arts, and how they intertwine.
Ever since I was little, I loved to draw. My father and grandparents were instrumental in creating a deep love of all things artistic. I began enhancing my ability to draw in grade school. Several of my friends and I had aspirations to one day be comic book artists, but, as time passed, all of that went on the back burner. I would draw a little here and there, but didn’t think it was something I could ever do as a career. So I pursued other paths. It wasn't until I turned 30 that a friend enticed me to begin selling my art. And, with that, 'WEMCO Arts' was born.
