That's the Tea: Local Atlanta Tea Makers

Fall is on the horizon, and we all know what that means: the season of hot beverages is upon us. (It's still ninety degrees outside as I write this, so perhaps I'm getting ahead of myself. But the people yearn for cocoa!)

If you're as excited as I am to hold a mug of tea in both hands and inhale meaningfully, then check out these local Georgia tea makers! 

Almas and Co. 

Almas and Co. is a Georgia-based tea maker who draws inspiration from nature and the environment to create delicious teas in flavors like "Blueberry Cream" and "Strawberry Mojito." She also creates seed bombs, beeswax food wraps and more!

Her teas are available in loose leaf or tea bags (for the uninitiated.) We love the wide range of flavors and the fact that most of them are available in caffeinated or decaf! If you're drinking decaf, you're better than me. 

 

Hale Tea

Hale Tea is a women-owned tea brand based in Savannah, GA. The Hale family has been in the tea business ever since they owned a London tea shop in 1872. They proudly collaborate with local artists to design their gorgeous packaging. 

Their teas are allergen and gluten free and prioritize organic ingredients. Their Herbal Remedy teas are available in flavors like "Relax Herbal Dream" and "Defense"!

 

 

Biron Organic Teas

Biron Organic Teas is based in Macon, Georgia. It was founded by a husband and wife duo who combined a Masters in Alternative Medicine with a culinary career to create a carefully curated line of teas. Some of the flavors they offer include Peach Blossom, Chamomile Apple Pie and Cherry Blossom Green Tea!

They prioritize sustainability by using biodegradable packaging and have been a certified organic facility since 2019.
