Meet Rick of WEMCO Arts
A lot of WEMCO's pieces come from their love of history, humor, culture, the arts, and how they intertwine.
WEMCO Arts joined HomeGrown in 2015
Ever since they were little, Rick loved to draw. His father and grandparents were instrumental in creating a deep love of all things artistic. He began enhancing his ability to draw in grade school. Rick had aspirations to one day be a comic book artists, but, as time passed, all of that went on the back burner. He would draw a little here and there, but didn’t think it was something he could ever do as a career. So he pursued other paths. It wasn't until Rick turned 30 that a friend enticed him to begin selling his art. And, with that, 'WEMCO Arts' was born.
